External affairs minister SM Krishna today said he was hopeful that his meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad next week would provide fillip to bilateral ties between the two countries and prove beneficial to India.

Krishna said he would discuss issues of cross border terrorism and unrest in Kashmir, besides other things, with Pakistani leadership during the July 15 meeting.

"We will be talking on all relevant issues during the meeting," he told reporters.

It was being viewed as a step to resume dialogue with Pakistan post the Mumbai terror attacks, he added.
