Six injured in stone pelting in Uttar Pradesh

Six persons were injured when families of a girl and a boy, who were opposed to their alliance, pelted stones at each other at Saidpura village in Muzaffarabad.

Six persons were injured when families of a girl and a boy, who were opposed to their alliance, pelted stones at each other at Saidpura village in the district here, police said today.
 
The trouble arose when the boy along with his family members reached the girl's house. Both the families had a fight over the issue and pelted stones at each other in which six persons were injured, they said.
 
In another case, Savita, a student of BA, who married her boyfriend Bablu against her family's wish, has sought police protection fearing for her life at Ghanshyampura village in the district yesterday, police said.
 
The police has provided protection to the couple, they said.
