Over two years after the busy Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus witnessed a bloodbath during the 26/11 attacks, the police guarding railway stations on terror groups' radar have received only eight out of 220 requested bullet-proof jackets.

"Following the Mumbai terror attacks, the government decided to give us bullet-proof jackets. We requested for 220 jackets, but so far we have received just eight," said Tukaram Chavan, Police Commissioner (Government Railway Police).

The delay in procurement is because formalities are taking a long time for completion, Chavan said.

"We hope to receive more jackets very soon."
