Simple questions lead to murder in Bangalore

A vegetable vendor was murdered by a labourer over a petty squabble at Devanahalli bus stand.

The deceased,  Bhaskar, 21, a resident of Dasarabeedi, Devanahalli, was at the bus stop on Thursday afternoon when Manoj, the accused, arrived with an iron rod used for digging.

Bhaskar’s brother-in-law  has been constructing a house. Manoj is a labourer at the site. Asked why he wasn’t at work, the angry Manoj swung the iron rod at Bhaskar and hit him
on the stomach. Bhaskar died on the spot.

Reports said Manoj was angry that Bhaskar had misbehaved with his wife.
