ShareGandhinagar: The long-awaited transfer of senior IAS officers was finally announced on Saturday late night. The transfers brought cheer to some, while caused heartburn for others.
The state government has transferred around 80 IAS officers of principal secretary(PS) rank, secretary and also transferred junior officers of the collector of District Development Officer(DDO) range.
In the PS rank BK Sinha has been appointed as principal secretary, ports & transport, while HK Dash has been transferred as PS, Narmada & Kalpasar.
He has been given additional charge of GWSSB.PN Roychodhury, PS agriculture & cooperation has been transferred as PS, GAD (NRI & ART). Dr.Varesh Sinha, PS, rural housing & rural development has been transferred as PS, labour & employment. RM Patel, PS labour & employment has been transferred as panchayat & rural housing.
Tapan Ray, PS, FD (economic affair) has been transferred as MD, GSPC. Rajesh Kishor, PS, food, civil supply has been transferred as PS, health & family welfare.
RS Saxena, PS, health & family welfare has been transferred as PS science & technology. S Jagadeesan, PS, energy & petrochemicals has been transferred as MD, Narmada Nigam. DJ Pandian, MD, GSPC has been transferred as PS, energy & petrochemicals.
Sujit Gulati, industries commissioner has been transferred as development commissioner. Raj Kumar, secretary, science & technology transferred as secretary, food and civil supplies consumer affairs. Punamchand Parmar, commissioner & secretary, industries & mine is now chairman & member secretary, Gujarat Khadi Gram Udyog, Board, Ahmedabad.
Pankaj Kumar, Joint MD, SSNNL has been transferred as vice-chairman & CEO, GMB. Vipul Mitra, development commissioner has been transferred as secretary, tourism, Devasthanm Management & Pilgrimage, Industries & Mine Dep.
AS Patel, secretary, sports & youth & cultural activities has been transferred as secretary, Industries & Mines Department (Cottage & Rural Industries). BB Swain, DG, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration & Ex-Officio, Secretary, (NRI & ART), GAD has been transferred as Industries Commissioner.
Mukesh Puri, Director, State Rural Health, Mission and Co-ordination, Nrigoi Balak has been transferred as Special Commissioner of Commercial Tax. RC Meena, Collector, Navsari has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Health & Family Welfare. KN Bhatt, Municipal Commissioner, Jamnagar has been transferred as Additional Secretary, UDD. RB Dave, Collector, Valsad has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Agriculture & Co-operation. GR Aloria, commissioner of land reforms and PS revenue has been transferred as a joint MD of SSNL. 45 DDO level junior officer have also been transferred.
