Shivraj Chouhan sings praises of rival Digvijay Singh

Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today heaped showers of praise on his political opponent Congress general secretary, Digvijay Singh today.

Chouhan said a number of good words in honour of Singh on the second day of the two-day All India Kshatriya Samaj Federation Convention.

The chief minister said Singh during his tenure as CM launched many schemes for the uplift of Dalits, poor and economically backward class in the state.

Chouhan said that Singh maintained personal relations with all people cutting across the political line . 

Chouhan recalled how Singh had offered him a government plane so that he could go to Mumbai for treatment as at that time Chouhan was unable to travel by train following an accident.

Chouhan said that the helping nature and the kind heartiness makes Singh an evergreen leader even today. 

He said that it was the need of the our to form a Federation of Kshatriya Samaj and this was the happiest occasion at which they were gathered under an umbrella.

Chouhan expressed concern over the downfall of sex ratio in the state which is now 917 female in 1000 male.

He said that Kshatriya Samaj has always played an important role in the country and effort to uplift the Samaj in all the fields should be continued.
