The annual session of the All India Shia Personal Law Board will be held in New Delhi on October 25, when the community is likely to demand reservation in Parliament and government jobs.

The national policy for Shias would be announced at the session, which would pass a resolution condemning terrorist activities across the world, Board president Maulana Mirza Mohammad Athar told reporters here today.

The board would demand reservation for the community on the lines of quota for Dalits in Parliament, he said adding, considering their financial backwardness Shias should be given reservation in jobs as well.

The community would voice its concern over "interference" of some Muslim countries in India's internal matters, he said.

Another resolution would seek reforms in religion and educational matters of the community.
