Senior BSEB officials suspended

Acting swiftly, Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) has suspended general manager -cum-chief engineer, Central Electricity Area (CEA), Patna, Ajay Kumar Prasad, following his arrest by the state Vigilance Bureau.
   
BSEB also placed its electrical superintending engineer Patna supply circle, Ram Naresh Singh, BSEB sources told PTI today.
    
The suspension of the two senior officials would take effect from Monday, they said.
    
The two senior officials had been trapped red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs1 lakh from a rice mill owner at their Darogarai path office here on November 14, sources added.
