Tripura State Rifles personnel recovered two country-made guns, six detonators and some explosive sticks from Birmanipara, a tribal hamlet in North Tripura district last night.

A team of the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) personnel have recovered at least five country-made guns and some ammunition during search operations in different places of the state, police said today.
The TSR jawans seized three guns and seven rounds of cartridges from a bush at the remote Sudhrai Para of West Tripura district on Monday.
In another incident the TSR personnel recovered two country-made guns, six detonators and some explosive sticks from Birmanipara, a tribal hamlet in North Tripura district last night.
Police suspect that insurgents might have stored the arms and ammunition.
