Security forces bust three hideouts in Jammu and Kashmir

Acting on a tip-off, teams of the army, police and 151 battalion of the CRPF busted a militant hideout at Bhaderwah in Doda district today, they said.

Security forces have busted three hideouts in the region and recovered arms, ammunition and explosive material, official sources said today.

Acting on a tip-off, teams of the army, police and 151 battalion of the CRPF busted a militant hideout at Bhaderwah in Doda district today, they said.

They recovered 40 rounds of AK rifle, five rounds of INSAS rifle, one 303 rifle, five electronic detonators, one IED remote control, three detonators, one blanket, five kg pressure cooker, 4 kg gas cylinder, 10 kg ration and prepared food and vegetables.

Troops busted another hideout in Sarchi gali area and recovered one 12 bore rifle, one pistol with 9 mm magazine, one RPG round, one SLR magazine, 3 AK magazines, 2 rounds of ammunition, 82 rounds of ammunition, one round ammunition of
sniper rifle, 154 rounds AK rifle, six grenades, 3 detonators,
one antenna, 3 charger clip, 3 gelatine sticks, 50 iron
plates, 5 kgs aluminum oxide powder and 2 blankets, they said.

Troops also busted another hideout at Mabakanath area and recovered 3 pistol rounds, one AK rifle round, one Pika round, 2 UBGL grenades, two binoculars, one compass and 11pencil cells, they said.
