Union minister of state for commerce and industries, Jyotiraditya Scindia, today refused to comment over the non-inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

"I won't comment on the bidding in the IPL as its commissioner, Lalit Modi, has already spoken about it," Scindia told reporters when asked to comment on the exclusion of Pakistan players in the event.

He, however, said IPL will become more interesting if more and more players join the event.

The minister said politics and sports should not be mixed. "If people, irrespective of their fields, are interested in promoting the game, they should get an opportunity to do so, Scindia added.
