Jammu: Highlighting the need to save water bodies in Jammu and Kashmir, Union minister for health and family welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad has said everyone should contribute his bit in protecting them.

We should bring awakening and inculcate the spirit of saving these precious bodies from pollution, Azad said at a function "Save Tawi" organised by Lawrence Public School here last evening.
People in Jammu and Kashmir are bestowed with gifts like rivers, lakes, mountains and pastures, he said and asked the students to play their role in protecting them.
The students also presented a programme "save river Tawi".
Later, the Union minister awarded two students with the Azad Rolling Trophy for best performance in academics.
