Samajwadi Party alleges nexus between Congress, BSP

Leader of opposition in the Uttar Pradesh assembly and a senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader, Shivpal Singh Yadav today alleged that the top leadership of Congress and BSP had a "tacit" understanding.

"Despite serious problems, failure of government machinery and demands for imposing president's rule in the state, the union government has not taken any step in this direction and this is only because the top leadership of both the Congress and BSP had a tacit understanding with each other", Yadav told reporters here.

On his party extending support to the union government which is led by Congress who he was alleging of having nexus with the BSP, Yadav said that it was only to strengthen the secular forces.
