The 29-year-old youth, a student at Ahmedabad's prestigious NID, had stabbed accused SPS Rathore thrice in the face with a pocket knife on Monday while posing as a journalist.

The bail plea of the youth who allegedly inflicted knife injuries on former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore, convicted in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case, will come up for hearing in a local court tomorrow.
Utsav Sharma was yesterday remanded to judicial custody by civil judge Paramjit Kaur.
The 29-year-old youth, a student at Ahmedabad's prestigious NID, stabbed 68-year-old Rathore thrice in the face with a pocket knife on Monday while posing as a journalist. The incident had occurred when Rathore was coming out of the court after a hearing.
After the incident, Utsav, who is said to be suffering from a psychological disorder, had been arrested and on Tuesday was remanded to a day's police remand. Utsav's parents had reached here from Varanasi on Tuesday after the incident.
