RSS chief meets industrialists, businessmen in Gujarat

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat who is on a two day visit to Gujarat today met selected group of city-based industrialist and businessmen to garner their support for the Sangh. Sources in the RSS said that the meeting which lasted over one hour was very productive.

Bhagwat also met few religious leaders in the morning which include Pramukh Swami of Swaminarayan sect and Vishwadevanand Maharaj at Sanyas Ashram here.

The RSS chief also met the parents of late Major Rushikesh Ramani and paid tribute to their son who was killed in a counter-insurgency operation near the Line of control in Kashmir while fighting terrorists a couple of months ago.This is the first visit by the RSS chief to the state after taking charge.

Yesterday while addressing a gathering of RSS workers Bhagwat had said that everybody in this country was a Hindu and free to join the Sangh which since its inception is working towards bringing together Hindus in the country. He had also made it clear that RSS was not opposed to any party and was willing to help all those who seek their advice.
