Rosaiah in East Godavari district on two-day visit

Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah arrived at Madurapudi Airport here on a two-day visit to East Godavari district.
   
He was accompanied by Union minister of state for defence MM Pallam Raju and other officials. District collector Gopalakrishna Diwadi, superintendent of police Nagi Reddy, state ministers P Viswaroop and P Subash Chandra Bose and other administration officials received the chief minister at the airport.
   
Rosaiah will participate in various programmes during his stay in the district.
   
His programmes including inauguration of TTD Kalyan Mandapam, Comprehensive Protected Drinking water Supply Scheme, opening of Ambedkar Bhavan, distribution of loans to SHGs and presentation of insurance cheque to mentally challenged persons.
   
He will also address a public meeting here and offer prayers at Samalkota Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple and meet well- known astrologer Chintamani Ganapathi Sastry, official said.
