Ananth Kumar accused the Centre of failing to provide necessary funds to the state for providing relief to the flood-hit people of Bihar in 2008 and also to the drought-affected victims.
Claiming that the RJD's performance would be an all time low this elections in Bihar, the BJP today said the RJD-LJP alliance would "disintegrate" after the assembly polls.
"We are sure that the RJD's performance will be an all time low. And its alliance with LJP of Ram Vilas Paswan will fall flat and disintegrate after the 2010 polls," BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar, who is also in-charge of party affairs in Bihar, told reporters.
Accusing the RJD and the Congress of "being interchangeable and transferable," Kumar said this election was a fight between destruction and development.
"The NDA riding on the crest of development would be able to improve its 2005 tally and form the government with comfortable majority. Rather we see unprecedented victory for the NDA this time," he added.
On the repeated statements of Congress leaders for giving central assistance to Bihar, Kumar said the Centre has to give funds to every state in keeping with the federal structure and it has not given any undue favour to Bihar.
"We would like to know from Congress leaders as to in what respect the central assistance they treat is sufficient and more than other states," Kumar added.
The BJP leader accused the Centre of failing to provide necessary funds to the state for providing relief to the flood-hit people of Bihar in 2008 and also to the drought-affected victims.
"There is a massive polarisation of forces in favour of development under the NDA and against the return of a 'jungle raj' of RJD in Bihar," he said adding that this time there was a fight between the NDA and RJD-LJP combine, while the Congress was no where in the picture.
On the manifesto released by the Congress promising development, Kumar said it is an "eyewash".
