Ramdev supporters from BJP burn effigy, protest against government in UP

Supporters of Baba Ramdev with local leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party burned effigy of Congress leaders to protest today against the crackdown by the government on yoga guru's agitation in New Delhi.

In the last 24 hours, protests were held at Modinagar, Pilakhuwa, Hapur, Loni, Niwari, Garhmukteshwar, Faridnagar and other parts in the district.

Agitators signed memorandums to be submitted to the President of India, asking for the suspension of the Congress led UPA government.
