Health officials on Wednesday said that the 46-year-old man who tested positive for H1N1 in Rajkot is now doing fine. Additional director (health) Dr Paresh Dave said elatives of the patient are also healthy.

As for a suspected case of 11-year-old boy in Jamjodhpur town, Dave said the results are still awaited. The boy has been kept in the civil hospital's isolation ward. Ramabhai Hirabhai was admitted to the civil hospital a few days back with high fever and cough. His blood report confirmed that it was a case of swine flu. Ghanshyam Thakor, 25, a resident of Rampura locality in Bakrol Village, Anand, who was found suffering from H1N1 infection, was taken off the ventilator on Wednesday, informed Dr Dave. Thakor was the first patient in Gujarat in 2012 to be identified as suffering from H1N1
