Congress national general secretary Digvijay Singh has alleged that there was a possibility of a post-poll alliance between Samajwadi Party and Bhartiya Janata Party as SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav never gives any statement against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Addressing an election meeting here last night, Singh said Yadav also had friendship with Kalyan Singh, an accused in the Babri mosque demolition case.

SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav never gives any statement against Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, he said adding that under such circumstances Yadav can join hands with BJP to form government after UP polls.

Attacking the ruling BSP, he said that the party's act against corruption was nothing more than farce.

BSP ousted ministers facing corruption charges from the cabinet, but FIRs were not lodged against any of them, he said.

Uttar Pradesh will go to polls spread over seven phases in February.
