A fake liquor manufacturing unit near here last night was unearthed, and one person arrested in this connection, police said.
Police said a worker was taken into custody while others managed to escape during the raid at the plant in Manakuppam village.
Arrack, bottles packed with the fake liquor, seals and other ingredients, totally estimated to be Rs5 lakh, were seized.
