Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today greeted the nation on Durga Puja and Dussehra festivals which, he said, were symbols of India's tradition of communal amity.
"The festivities remind us of the eternal message of victory of good over evil and mark the hope of a bright future," he said in a message.
Singh said the celebration of Vijayadashami in different parts of the country is a symbol of India's tradition of communal togetherness and unity in diversity and wished that the two festivals bring peace, happiness and prosperity to all.
