Over 3 lakh people throng Mughal Gardens of Delhi during Udyan Utsav

Within just two weeks of its opening, more than three lakh people are making a beeline to visit the Udyan Utsav at the Mughal Gardens in New Delhi.

The main attractions of the Utsav, which commenced on February 15, were the Bonsai Garden and the Vertical Garden, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson said in a statement.

"The pleasant weather added to the Utsav's success with over three lakh persons attending it within just two and a half weeks of its opening," the statement said.

A variety of Rashtrapati Bhavan souvenirs were sold like hot cakes at the Curio Shop with the favourites being coffee mugs, refrigerator magnets and T-shirts.

The garden will remain open till March 16.
