Only BJP capable of solving inflation : Shatrughan Sinha

BJP leader and cine star Shatrughan Sinha today claimed that the party was the only one capable of solving the problem of inflation in the country.

''Abnormal price rise has led to untold miseries for the common people and the poor and time has come for change both at the Centre and Assam,'' Sinha said at a campaign rally in Assam's Tinsukia assembly constituency.

Sinha suffered minor injuries as he slipped and fell from the stage as he was climbing it. However, he got up and addressed the rally'.

Blaming the Congress for the ills facing Assam and the country, he said the party cannot escape the blame.

''The Congress is in power both at the Centre and in Assam and both goverments are equally responsible for the mess in the country and the state,'' the former union minister said.

He appealed to the youth to bring about a change in the state and play the key role to ensure that their future was not as bleak as their present.

Sinha claimed that only BJP was capable of solving the problems facing Assam and people should give it a chance to form the government.
