One person killed, two others injured in firing in Bihar

One person was shot dead and two others injured today in firing during a clash between rival group of people at Raipura village in Bihar's Aurangabad district, a police officer said.

One Harivansh Singh, 45, was killed on the spot and two others, identified as Niraj Singh and Sunil Singh sustained bullet injuries after being shot at by rival group of people during a dispute over property, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sanjay Kumar said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital for treatment, he said.

A case has been lodged at Mufassil police station in the firing incident, Kumar said, adding raids were being carried out to nab the shooters.
