The Border Security Force (BSF) today found one more shell of an exploded rocket fired by Pakistani Rangers on villages in this border area two days ago.

The shell was found half-a-kilometre away from Attari border, police said.

So far, five shells of rockets — three exploded and two unexploded — fired from across the border on Friday night had been found, they said.

In all, Pakistani forces fired five to six rockets, prompting the BSF to open retaliatory fire.

Immediately after the incident, the BSF held a flag meeting with their Pakistani counterparts who denied any firing from their side.

Earlier, Pakistan had fired three rockets on the villages on July 5 and five in September last year.
