One held in connection with seizure of crude bombs in Karnataka

One person has been arrested in connection with the seizure of seven crude bombs at Chellakurki village, 70km from Bellary in Karnataka, police said.

Police gave the name of the arrested as Anjanappa, who was taken into custody today, and said they were on the lookout for another person, Kubera.

The bombs were found behind the house of a candidate contesting next week's gram panchayat election and the bomb disposal squad defused them yesterday.
