One dead, another injured in accident in Ahmedabad

One person died and another sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Monday morning.

The accident occurred when a bike and a trailer collided at the Sardar Patel Ring Road in Bopal.

According to Sarkhej police, the incident occurred at 8:30 in the morning.

The police said that the bike collided with the trailer of an approaching tractor at a turning. The bike was dragged a  few meters and the pillion rider was crushed under the trailer.

The pillion rider Rohit Jayanti Thakore died on the spot while the biker Suresh Mana Thakore sustained serious injuries. The driver of the tractor is absconding. It is to be noted that few days ago, driver of a Bolero was killed on the same road following  a collision.
