Welcoming US President Barack Obama's forthcoming visit to India, BJP today said that the US administration should ensure that its aid to Pakistan is not used to fuel terror activities against India.

US administration should ensure that aid of $2 billion to Pakistan is not used against India for terror activities, BJP national spokesperson, Tarun Vijay told reporters in Nagpur.

"India and United States are the two great successful democracies in the world and both are the victims of the Islamic terror and therefore Obama administration should ensure that US funding is not used by Pakistan against India," he said.

Vijay hoped that Obama's efforts to improve Indo-American relationship grow stronger.

Pakistan was using the Taliban card as a commercial venture to seek funds from America, he said.

On the Kashmir issue, Vijay criticised the home ministry for permitting Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Shah Geelani and author and social activist Arundhati Roy for holding meeting in Delhi and openly supporting free Kashmir.

"We should all stick to Parliament resolution of February 1994 in letter and spirit that Kashmir was an integral part of India," Vijay said.

By allowing provocative speeches by Geelani and others, India has hurt the feelings of Armed Forces guarding the fronts in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.

Vijay described the RSS functionary Indresh Kumar being charge-sheeted in Ajmer blast case, as political conspiracy.
