The downturn caused by economic slowdown in United Kingdom has started showing signs of recovery as the number of students from India for education in that country has started picking up this year, principal of Northam College, UK, Michael Mills said today.

"There was a lull for the past two years. But now many students especially from Indian subcontinent are keen to pursue their education in UK," Mills told PTI.

He said with a bit flexibility, students from India would be able to get at least 14-hours a week jobs in and around London during their education.

The London-based college aims to educate students with a view to careers for lifetime, transforming potentiality into venerable achievements, he added.
