No threat to Commonwealth Games: Delhi police chief

Against the backdrop of the Pune terror attack, Delhi police commissioner YS Dadwal today said there is no threat to the Commonwealth Games and that elaborate measures have been taken to ensure security during mega events like Hockey World Cup.

"We see no threat to the Commonwealth Games," Dadwal told reporters here.

He was responding to a question whether there is any security threat to the Commonwealth Games and World Cup Hockey
in the backdrop of the terror attack in Pune which claimed
nine lives.

Dadwal said elaborate arrangements have been made for the sporting events.
