No mobile, TV for Hazare, team in jail

Anna Hazare and his aides in Tihar Jail, though freed Tuesday night, are not allowed by the jail authorities to use mobile phones or watch TV, according to activists.

Hazare and his team were freed Tuesday night, but have refused to leave the jail premises till they are allowed to freely hold, without any conditions, a fast for a strong Lokpal Bill.

 “Even though the police claim he is free now, Hazare and other activists are not allowed to use their mobile phones,” said activist Aswathi Muralidharan.
