After having served as joint director, ministry of defense during his 20 year stint with the Indian Navy, he chose to take commands from the professors at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A).

And after taking lessons of management at its Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPX) course, he chose to pass by lucrative job offers by corporate honchos, and join an NGO- The Clinton Foundation.

The student, hailing from Delhi, doesn't want to be identified but says there are two reasons associated with his decision to opt for a job at an NGO, which pays 50% less than what a corporate house would have paid.

"I will be working with Clinton Foundation's Clinton Health Action Initiative and I believe they are doing incredible work helping people with HIV, Malaria or TB. Also, I realised that it is a time to give back to society," he reasoned.

Another reason for this student to join Clinton Foundation is that he will get an opportunity to work with his favourite people. "In fact, their country head itself is an IIM alumnus - Amita Chebbi," said he.  He however need not shift his base from India although he would need to travel to other countries.
