New system for transfer of social security pensions in Haryana

The Haryana government has introduced a system under which social security pensions will be credited to bank accounts of beneficiaries in 16 districts of the state.
        
The Electronic Benefit Transfer system will bring more transparency in distribution of social security pensions, a spokesman of the social justice and empowerment department said here today.
         
He said pension to widows, destitutes and children and allowance to Kashmiri migrants and eunuchs come under the category of social security pensions.
