Two Nepalese nationals, who procured the job of security guards with US-led allied forces in Kabul allegedly using fake passports, were arrested here, police said today.

The Nepalese citizens Vishnu Nath Gurung and Krishna Bahadur Rai were arrested at the Indira Gandhi International airport with the "fake" passports.
"Initial interrogation of both the passengers revealed that they had procured fake Indian passports in their names issued by Regional Passport office in Guwahati," a senior police official said.
According to the official, the passports was arranged by an agent based in Kathmandu who had further got their visa and ticketing formalities arranged through another travel agent based in Delhi.
Raids carried out at various places in the capital helped the team in nabbing the travel agent R P Yadav from Shakarpur area in east Delhi.
Yadav had allegedly charged Rs 1.6 lakh from each passengers for their journey as well as employment in Kabul.
"Both the passengers are already working as security guards at various camps of allied international forces based in Afghanistan since December 2009," the official said.
Police have also recovered a visiting card of a manpower services agency based in Afghanistan owned by a Nepalese travel agent who facilitates jobs for these people in various parts of the war-torn country.
The investigating team has also been able to recover a list of Nepalese citizens who are suspected to have fraudulently procured Indian passports and are currently employed in Afghanistan as security guards.
Copies of e-tickets, pass books, visa application forms and copies of passports were also recovered from the possession of the agent.
"Both the arrested passengers has revealed that they didnot file any application form for getting the Indian
passports. They had simply provided their photographs to the travel agents who got their Indian passports made from Guwahati," the official said.
