LJP supremo Ramvilas Paswan today said that the amendment of the Bihar Special Security Guard Bill, which allows lifelong security and a bungalow to former chief ministers, is an indication that Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has accepted defeat.

"The passing of the bill in the Assembly has given enough indications that Kumar has admitted NDA's defeat much before the Assembly elections as he has arranged for his comfortable stay after demitting office," Paswan said while addressing the provincial conference of the Dalit Sena here.

The state's NDA government had recently amended the bill that facilitated basic lifelong security and a bungalow to former chief ministers of the state.

Charging the Nitish Kumar government for allegedly dividing the society on the basis of caste, he called upon the Dalits to oust the NDA government out of power in Bihar.

"Kumar has indulged in politics of castes and is dividing the society on the basis of castes. It has exposed the real face of Kumar before the people who have made up their minds to remove him from power," he alleged.

Paswan accused the Nitish Kumar government of failing on all fronts and alleged that all the promises made by the CM for the upliftment of Mahadalits, Dalits, SC and extremely backwards has proved to be false.
