National Conference to finalise strategy for budget session next week

The ruling party in Jammu & Kashmir is expecting scathing attacks from the PDP, BJP and JKNPP over various issues like civilian killings, governance and dwevelopment.

With PDP, BJP and JKNPP likely to launch a scathing attack on the Omar Abdullah government in the coming budget session, the legislature party of the ruling National Conference will meet on February 25 to chalkout its strategy.
        
The party held its Central Working Committee meeting, chaired by its president and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah yesterday.
         
The session is likely to be a stormy one with PDP, BJP, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party and other opposition parties likely to slam the government on various issues like civilian killings, governance and development.
    
The Working Committee also discussed various issues pertaining to functioning of the party including strengthening of its rank and file.
          
Abdullah called for strengthening of the coalition government in the state and asked party leaders to coordinate with the constituents at all levels.
         
He underlined the need for giving further fillip to the progress and development in the state, the spokesman said.
         
The discussions were focused on issues like upcoming Panchayat polls, development and political matters relating to the state.
