Narcotics seized from Bihar jail

Four mobile phones, six SIM cards, ganja and a packet of charas, besides Rs5,100 in cash were seized during the operation in the wards and cells of the divisional jail.

Narcotics, mobile phones and cash were seized during a search in the wards and cells of the divisional jail at this district headquarters town of Bihar today, official sources said.

A team of officials, jointly led by district magistrate Virendra Prasad Yadav and superintendent of police Varun Kumar Sinha, conducted the search in various wards and cells of the jail.

Four mobile phones, six SIM cards, ganja and a packet of charas, besides Rs5,100 in cash were seized during the operation, the sources said.
