Narayan Desai’s Gandhi Katha from today

Narayan Desai, son of Mahatma Gandhi's personal secretary and biographer Mahadev Desai, will speak on the Mahatma at the Gandhi Ashram.

The Gandhi Katha will be held from December 12 to 16 between 5 to 8 pm. Narayan Desai, was brought up in the Gandhi Ashram in Sabarmati, and Sevagram near Wardha. Desai, a learned and well-known speaker on Gandhi, wrote a four volume biography of Gandhi in Gujarati.  

This was his way of paying a tribute to his father Mahadev Desai.
Desai was given the All India Sahitya Academy Award for the biography of his father.
