Muzaffarnagar court issues warrants against three dead accused

On a police plea, a local court here issued non-bailable warrants against three persons but it now appeared that they were killed in separate encounters with police a few years ago.

The local court issued non-bailable warrants against Irshad, Shamshad and Sarfaraz yesterday for not appearing before it despite repeated warrants.

The matter came to light when policemen went to execute the court order.

Irshad and Shamsad were killed in an encounter five years ago, while Sarfaraz was killed in 2002, police said.
