Murdered body found in Madhavpura

On Friday morning, Madhavpura police were informed of a dead body lying near the municipal quarters in the area. Upon reaching there, the police learned that the deceased, one Younus Ajmeri was killed the pervious night and his body dumped there.

Investigation revealed that Ajmeri, 50, a Mansa resident, had come to a relative's house in the city. He suffered from partial paralysis on the face and had been advised rest by his doctor.

Experts from FSL found 13 wounds from a sharp weapon on Ajmeri's body, which hint at murder. Madhavpura police is now investigating the matter from that angle.
