Mulayam Singh's cousin commits suicide

Cousin brother of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, Pooran Singh Yadav, today allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence here, police said here.

Yadav (30), a former state president of Lohia Vahini of the SP, shot himself in the temple with his licenced pistol, they said.

He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

A family problem was said to be the motive behind Yadav taking the step.

Senior police and administration officers have reached the spot and were investigating the matter.
