Minor killed in leopard attack in Srinagar

A seven-year-old girl was mauled to death by a leopard in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

Bisma Sheikh was playing outside her house at village Pathi-Poshker in Khag, 40 kms from here, when the leopard attacked her last evening.

The locals tried to rescue the girl, but the leopard dragged her into the nearby forest and later her mutilated body was recovered, they said.
