Minor boys held for rape in Karnataka

A 19-year-old youth and three minor boys were arrested today on charges of raping three minor girls at Thora village near Virajpet, police said.

Police said the boys, including the youth, who worked as labourers in a plantation, took the girls, also working on the same estate, to a nearby forest on some pretext and raped them.

The three boys are in the age group of 16 to 17 years.

The  boys, who were produced before the children's crime court at Mysore, were remanded to custody for 15 days. The 19-year-old youth was produced before Virajpet court and remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
