Maoists kill man suspecting him to police informer

A group of suspected Maoists killed a middle aged man in Gadchiroli district after allegedly abducting him, police sources said today.

Suresh Alam,47, was kidnapped two days back and was shot dead by Maoists last night accusing him of being a police informer, they said.

His daughter had applied for recruitment in police force which irked the Maoists.

Alam's body was dumped in Nandgoan in Aheri taluka of the district this morning, sources added.
