Maoists blow up railway track in Jharkhand's Bokaro district

Maoists blew up a stretch of railway track in Jharkhand's Bokaro district early this morning, disrupting train services, railway officials said.

Armed Maoists used dynamite to blast the track between Gomia and Dumri railway stations, Chandrapura railway station Manager Ashok Kumar said.

There was no loss of life due to the incident, he said adding that efforts were on to repair the tracks.
