Maoists abduct TDP leader, set bus on fire in Andhra Pradesh

A group of five Maoists burned down the state transport bus at Tupakulagudem village of Eturnagaram mandal in the district last night, after breaking the diesel tank and pouring the fuel on the vehicle.

Maoists abducted a local TDP leader and set a APSRTC bus on fire in two separate incidents here in Andhra Pradesh, police said today.
 
A group of five Maoists burned down the state transport bus at Tupakulagudem village of Eturnagaram mandal in the district last night, after breaking the diesel tank and pouring the fuel on the vehicle, they said.
 
In another incident, Maoists kidnapped a local TDP Mandal secretary Majid yesterday. He is a native of Laxmipuram village of Eturunagaram mandal, police said.
