Maoist terror: Kidnapped chowkidar's body found in Bihar

The body of a village chowkidar kidnapped by Maoists was found at Tilokhar village in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said today.

Deputy inspector general of police (Sahabad range) SK Khopade said the body was found late last night and raids are on in the area to track down the ultras.

The chowkidar was kidnapped by a group of about 10 Maoists from neighbouring Panduka village on Thursday night.

A dispute over a piece of land was believed to be the reason behind the incident, the police added.
