A member of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) was arrested during a police raid at Akbatrpur bazar in Bihar's Rohtas district, its police superintendent Vikas Vaibhav said today.
Acting on a tip off, police raided a house last night and captured the man, who is a member of the outfit's armed squad, he said.
The Maoist later confessed to being involved in an encounter with the police in the district in June, Vaibhav added.
