Alleging that Congress has made a mockery of the Election Commission, BJP leader Maneka Gandhi today demanded resignations of union ministers Salman Khurshid and Beni Prasad Verma.

"The Congress has made mockery of the Election Commission. Both Salman and Beni neither knows law nor religion. Why they are talking of giving only 18 per cent reservation to muslims. Why they don't provide 100 per cent reservation to them", Maneka told reporters reporters here.

Both these ministers should resign, she said adding that Congress did not have respect for any institution.

She alleged that Salman could lie to any extent to ensure victory of his wife (Louis Khurshid).

In reply to a question, Maneka said that Sonia Gandhi had surely not wept on Balta encounter as she would have failed to understand the issue.
